Happy Hours in PB

I just added a new feature that allows the users to select  Randomized  to see the bar cards in a random fashion so that you are not always seeing the same bars in the same order on every page.  If you prefer to have a little more order, you can click the  Alphabetized  link and view the cards in alphabetical order.   I've made it sticky with a cookie that lasts 30 days.  Since this is our first cookie, I am also working on adding the verbiage to allow users to accept cookies.   If you turn off cookies for this domain, the alphabetized option will not be "sticky" and you will have to click the link every time you want to view the bar cards alphabetically.  Let me know what you think.  The season has started and this year I bought Padres season tickets to promote my business.  I chose to trade my home opener tickets for extra tickets to the Giants game in July and instead we went to the 2nd day of the first Padres home stand.   It was  Jackie Robinson Day  and all the baseball players and coaches (on both teams) were wearing his retired number 42.  I've never been in the stadium for Jackie Robinson Day - I've only seen it on TV.  It was fun.  I did think there would be more people wearing 42.  There were a few, but not as many as I expected. Today I added 4 more bars to bring the total to 10 bars in the listing thus far.  With each bar having a total possible 7 daily specials, 7 happy hours, and 7 brunches (one for each day of the week), here are the current totals.  We've got 10 bars and restaurants, 22 daily specials, 44 happy hours and 19 brunches.  Finally, I did it.  I launched the site.  We only have the six bars and restaurants talked about in my  Just getting started  blog post.  I still need to list the bars that are  To Be Added  as well as the  Bars and Restaurants that are in the Listing , but at least the site is launched.  The contact pages work.  The blog is on our custom domain.  I'm happy. You can start using the site to check out what's happening in PB on any given day.  I looking for input from people who use the site.  Please  let me know  if you have any suggestions for things I can add.  I hope to add a map and some filters.  I definitely need your suggestions.

 I've started compiling this list and it's a daunting amount of work.  I think I'm going to launch it with just the first six bars and restaurants.  The numbers show that with only 6 bars and restaurants compiled, we have 18 daily specials, 29 happy hours, and 6 brunches.  Maybe someday (if anyone cares) I can post about how I chose the first six in the order I did. I have at least 30 more bars/restaurants targeted to add cards, but I'm exhausted and really want to launch this site.  I can't wait to use it to make plans for any night of the week.  So, I think that I'll create two Blogger Pages - one for  To BeAdded  to show which bars we have targeted, and the other called  Bars and Restaurants in Listing  for the bars that have already been added.  As I add each site, I will move it from one page to another.  If I'm missing a listing or if a listing needs correction, I rely completely on you guys to help me keep it all up to date.  Please contact us via our
